Réaction à l’éditorial (anonyme comme toujours) de la Gazette, 13 sept. ’07 : Tyler strikes again for anglo rights.
Why that much fighting for english education in Québec ?
Lawyer Brent Tyler seems to be spending a personal fortune (without help from the Lester B. Pearson School Board) to force the kids of a recalcitrant Pakistani family into english schools. Where ? At Riverdale Highschool in Pierrefonds.
Where is Pierrefonds ? In Québec.
What is the official language of Québec ? French of course !
Does Mr. Tyler speak any french ? Fluently.
Why is he misleading this immigrant family, established here since 2002, into such a dead-end in its skills to communicate with people of its adoptive land ?
This sure is not in the interest of the new comers : if they did not like speaking french, they would have had lots of other places to pick out.
In whose interest is that fighting, then ?
Would it be that the real recalcitrant are the inhabitants of those west island de-fused cities who just act as a permanent pain-in-the-ass of Québec to make believe that English language in Québec is in jeopardy ? Who would believe that ?
One of the sharks surrounding as a flock a single salmon would be threatened by the latter ?
Who has interest in making la nation québécoise appear mean ?
